Sivananda yoga will strengthen and relax you while the world washes over you, “the yoga wave”. This form of yoga focuses on 12 basic postures to explore and expand upon the 5 Points: *proper exercise-Asanas * proper breathing-Pranayama * proper relaxation-Savasana * proper diet-conscious eating * positive thinking and meditation. The goal is to assist you in creating your intimate yoga experience that will sustain you on and off the mat.

Vinyasa simply means proper application. In this practice we apply our breath to our movements, resulting in a flowing practice. Integrating alignment, intuition, strength and fluidity. Pranayama (breathing technique) is introduced. All levels are welcome.
Take time to slow down and bring balance to your overall practice. Yin Yoga is a relaxed form that allows you to fully immerse yourself in poses that can be held longer and felt more deeply. The perfect complement to a Vinyasa-based practice.

This practice encourages mindful exploration of the postures amidst an invigorating combination of fluid movement and deeper, prolonged, holds. Eclectic Flow incorporates elements of anusara, vinyasa, kundalini, pranayama, meditation, and chanting. This practice is ideal for practitioners looking for a practice that is unique each time and inclusive of a well balanced synthesis of challenging and calming elements.

Prenatal Yoga begins again on Sunday, March 18 from 1-2 p.m. (There will be no prenatal yoga on April 1 or 8). Join Gina for a series of classes designed specifically for the journey of pregnancy and childbirth. $12 for a drop-in or $40 for 4 classes.
Sundays from 1:00-2:00. Participants are urged to eat something light approximately 1 hour prior to class.
